Job Description

McCall's Communities for Life Enrichment is looking to grow our CMA team and are looking for upbeat, fun, hard workers to join our team! We have openings for both Part-Time and Full-Time with various schedules. We are honored to serve individuals with developmental disabilities each day.
General Duties:
Assist in administering medication to residents as ordered by the attending physician, medical coordinator or DON.
Specific Duties:
Count and assure accuracy of scheduled drugs at beginning and end of shift. Set up and administer all medication and treatments for assigned shift. Document in MAR all medications and treatments administered (scheduled and PRN). Know how to orient new residents. Directly evaluate resident's condition when caregivers feel there may be need to call 911. Notify RN/Administrator of transport and/or change of resident's condition. Initiate alert charting for new medications, illnesses, changes in condition, incidents. Chart on all-alert status residents every shift. Provide oversight of caregivers to assure resident care and shift routines are carried out. Follow procedures for errors, removing medications and destroying medications. Maintain confidentiality. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, read and document medication orders.
Education, Training & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. Current certification in LTC, CNA or DDCA. Six months experience in long term care facility. Completion of State approved CMA training program. Valid Oklahoma Driver's License. Incredible benefits package - we take care of those who take care of our residents! And paid training!

From $17.00 per hour
