- Certified Medication Aide Job Summary Bell Avenue Nursing is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our team in Elk City, Oklahoma. As a Certified Medication Aide , you will play a vital role in administering medications in a conscientious and effective manner that protects the safety and welfare of our residents and the institution. Responsibilities Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians Take and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, height, weight, and pulse Prepare patients for examination by explaining procedures and assisting with positioning Assist with minor surgical and diagnostic procedures under the supervision of a physician Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization Collect laboratory specimens (e.g., urine, blood) and perform basic lab tests Maintain and sterilize medical equipment and instruments Requirements Previous experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting preferred Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and patient care practices Ability to perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and administering injections Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously About Us We are committed to delivering high-quality care and services to our residents, and we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate team member to join our team.
