Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely to patients in accordance with established protocols. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and document responses to medication therapy diligently. Assist nursing staff with patient care activities, ensuring a high standard of comfort and safety. Maintain meticulous medication administration records and comply with all regulatory requirements. Provide patient education on medication usage, side effects, and safety precautions. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless, quality care delivery during night shifts.
Required Skills:
Current Certified Medication Aide license in good standing. Insulin certification is mandatory. Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and team members. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in medication delivery. Have Skills:
Previous experience working as a CMA in a clinical setting. Knowledge of EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems. Additional certifications in wound care or patient safety are advantageous.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare-related training is a plus. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CMA or clinical medical assistant preferred.

Schedule:
Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with days of the week varying. Full-time hours, offering stability and consistent scheduling. Must hold valid certification with current licensure and insulin certification. Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing for extended periods and assisting patients as needed.
