Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team at Cimarron Pointe Care Center in Mannford, Oklahoma. As a CMA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications and providing exceptional care. Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and ordered by licensed nursing staff Monitor and record medication administration, including dosage and timing Provide basic care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Assist with vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse Participate in care planning and implementation, including developing and updating individualized care plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure resident-centered care Maintain accurate and detailed records of medication administration and resident care
Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
