Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Medication Aide to join our care team. This role is ideal for individuals certified as a Medication Administration Technician (MAT) , Certified Medication Aide (CMA) , or Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) . You'll play a key part in supporting resident care by safely administering medications, monitoring health changes, and assisting with daily living tasks.
AVAILABLE SHIFT
Overnight Sunday - Thursday (11:00 pm - 7:00 am) and join us in making a difference every day!

MAKE A DIFFERENCE AS A CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE
As a new Certified Medication Aide at The Gardens at Quail Springs , your day will be filled with exciting opportunities to learn and grow in your role. You'll be responsible for assisting residents with their medications, ensuring accuracy and following proper procedures. Your keen observation skills will be put to good use as you monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff. With the support of our team, you'll quickly become familiar with our residents' preferences and build trust through personalized care. Each day will bring new challenges and rewards, contributing to your professional development in the healthcare industry.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE
Active certification as
MAT , CMA
, or ACMA (required). Understanding of the nursing process, coupled with strong clinical skills in medication administration and treatment performance, will be essential in delivering top-notch care to our residents. Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Proficiency in infection control procedures is a must, while any experience working with the elderly will be advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment. Genuine compassion for seniors and individuals needing care. Being able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, is crucial for building rapport with residents and collaborating with the healthcare team.
