Certified Medication Aide (CMA/ACMA) 7am to 11pm Saturday and Sunday Meadowlake Retirement Village Oklahoma City, OK Meadowlake Retirement Village in Oklahoma City, OK has opportunities for full-time Certified Medication Aides to join our team! These tasks are performed as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal rules and regulations, and consistent with facility policies. Shift:
7am to 11pm
Saturday and Sunday Certified Medication Aide Key Responsibilities:
Administers medication as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with any state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy. Must demonstrate knowledge of the "five rights" of medication administration. Records the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately. Observes for and reports any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift. Administers PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.
Certified Medication Aide Qualifications:
State certification as a nurse aide is required State approved medication administration certification Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide Highly developed observation skills Excellent communication and customer service skills
