MAKE A DIFFERENCE AS A CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE
As a new Certified Medication Aide at The Gardens at Quail Springs, your day will be filled with exciting opportunities to learn and grow in your role. You'll be responsible for assisting residents with their medications, ensuring accuracy and following proper procedures. Your keen observation skills will be put to good use as you monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff. With the support of our team, you'll quickly become familiar with our residents' preferences and build trust through personalized care. Each day will bring new challenges and rewards, contributing to your professional development in the healthcare industry.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE A
high school diploma or GED. Oklahoma Nurse Aide Certification with no abuse notations. Understanding of the nursing process, coupled with strong clinical skills in medication administration and treatment performance, will be essential in delivering top-notch care to our residents. Proficiency in infection control procedures is a must, while any experience working with the elderly will be advantageous. Being able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, is crucial for building rapport with residents and collaborating with the healthcare team.
