As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications and providing support with daily living activities. Responsibilities:
Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians and under the supervision of licensed nursing staff Maintain accurate and detailed records of medication administration and resident interactions Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of resident care plans and preferences Provide support with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Assist with vital signs and other clinical assessments as needed Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members Demonstrate a commitment to resident-centered care and promote a positive, respectful environment
Requirements:
Certification as a Medication Aide in the state of Oklahoma High school diploma or equivalent required 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting (new graduates welcome to apply)
