Responsibilities:
As a Clinical - Certified Medication Aide, your key duties will include: Administering medications accurately and safely under clinical supervision. Monitoring and recording vital signs and patient observations. Assisting with activities of daily living such as hygiene, mobility, and personal care. Escorting and transporting patients or clients within the facility as needed. Performing basic nursing tasks including charting and documenting patient conditions. Supporting clinical staff by preparing and receiving supplies, maintaining a clean and safe environment. Assisting with specimen collection and ensuring proper handling and documentation. Participating in patient follow-up activities and tracking medication administration. Maintaining compliance with facility protocols and state regulations regarding medication management and patient care.
Required Skills:
Certified Medication Aide licensure in the state of Oklahoma. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to follow detailed instructions and chart accurately. Good observational skills for tracking patient progress and reporting changes. Ability to work effectively under supervision and as part of a team. Basic understanding of medical terminology and nursing practices. Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and confidentiality. Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience working in correctional or institutional healthcare settings. Knowledge of public health resources and community health services. Familiarity with basic sanitation, hygiene practices, and infection control protocols. Basic clerical skills for supply management and documentation.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Valid Certified Medication Aide licensure in Oklahoma. At least one year of experience providing patient care. Prior experience working in environments requiring strict compliance and documentation.
Other Requirements:
Availability to work a Thursday through Saturday schedule, from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. Successful completion of Oklahoma statewide background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening. Valid driver's license and social security card for onboarding. Compliance with EEOC training and onboarding requirements. Physical ability to perform patient care tasks, including lifting and mobility assistance.
