Aspen is a small private assisted living home, with only 7 residents, intentionally designed to provide personalized care in a comfortable, family-style environment. Our CMAs play a vital role in supporting residents with dignity, kindness, and respect while helping maintain a safe and welcoming home environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Administering medications according to physician orders, facility policy, Oklahoma regulations, and current certification. Maintain medication storage, security, and inventory. Accurately documenting medication administration and resident care activities. Monitoring residents for changes in condition and promptly reporting concerns or medication effects to nursing staff or administration. Assisting residents with meals, snacks, hydration, and dining support. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe living environment for residents. Providing companionship, emotional support, and respectful interaction with residents and families. Responding appropriately to emergencies, call lights, falls, and resident care needs. Assisting with housekeeping and laundry support as needed. Assisting with meal preparation and services as needed. Supporting resident dignity, independence, and quality of life at all times. Following infection control, safety, and resident rights policies. Participate in staff meetings and training. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Applicants must meet the following qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. TB Skin Test - Negative Active Oklahoma CNA certification in good standing. Current listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry. Completion of a state-approved CNA training program. Current MAT (Medication Administration Training) Certification. CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire). Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Ability to safely assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs). Strong communication, teamwork, and caregiving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred:
Experience in assisted living or long-term care. Physical Requirements This position may require: Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting residents throughout the shift Ability to lift, transfer, or assist residents with mobility needs Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations Working Conditions At Aspen Senior Care Homes, staff work in a climate-controlled residential care environment designed to provide comfort, safety, and personalized care for residents. Aspen intentionally maintains a small resident population of only seven residents, allowing staff to provide individualized attention and build meaningful relationships with those in their care. Schedule & Environment Day and night shifts available 12-hour shift schedules Residential, family-style assisted living environment Small resident-to-caregiver setting focused on personalized care Physical & Environmental Conditions Employees may routinely encounter: Exposure to cleaning solutions, disinfectants, and sanitizing products Possible exposure to infectious materials, airborne illnesses, or bodily fluids Routine lifting, bending, standing, walking, and assisting residents with mobility and activities of daily living Occasional exposure to unpleasant odors related to resident care Occasional exposure to unpredictable resident behaviors associated with aging, cognitive decline, confusion, or medical conditions Staff are expected to follow all infection control procedures, safety protocols, PPE requirements, and resident care policies to maintain a safe environment for residents, visitors, and fellow employees.
