Job Description

Overview Schedule- Mondays thru Wednesdays 12:00-8:30 am The overnight shift is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment while supporting residents during overnight hours. Staff must ensure that all safety protocols, documentation, and household tasks are completed before the end of each shift. Quiet time should be maintained throughout the night.
Basic Chores:
Dust common areas, mop floors, wipe counters in kitchen and bathrooms, and empty all trash bins.
Kitchen Maintenance:
Clean oven, stove, toaster, microwave; wipe down fridges and freezers; organize fridge and pantry; wipe cupboards inside and out; confirm dishwasher has been run.
Inventory & Supplies:
Check cleaning products are stocked and secured in the locked utility closet; inventory bathroom products and add needed items to the supply list.
Food Safety:
Check food expiration dates; complete temperature logs for refrigerators and freezers.
Medication & Safety:
Update medication log; ensure medication fridge and drawers are locked; complete naltrexone log; confirm first aid kits are stocked.
Safety Checks:
Inspect for hazards (loose cords, spills, blocked exits); check electrical outlets; verify fire extinguishers are in place and not expired; ensure all fire exits are clear; lock windows and doors; confirm emergency contacts are accessible.
Resident Support:
Maintain quiet time; perform room checks if required.
Documentation:
Record all chores and safety checks in the overnight log; note any incidents or resident concerns.
Primary Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Prep:
Re-check kitchen counters and appliances; clean dryer vents if scheduled; continue dusting and mopping; double-check trash bins and replace liners.
Food & Morning Routine:
Begin breakfast meal prep; make breakfast; assist residents with morning routines and chores.
Inventory:
Check food inventory and add needed items to grocery list.
Safety:
Confirm windows and doors are locked; re-check fire extinguishers and electrical outlets; ensure medication storage remains locked; perform final room checks if required.
Documentation:
Complete all logs and documentation before end of shift; note any incidents or resident concerns.
Key Expectations:
Maintain quiet time throughout both shifts. Complete all documentation accurately and on time. Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
Pay:
From $25.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
License/Certification:
CPR Certification (Required) Food Handler Certification (Required) First Aid Certification (Preferred)
