Medication Technician Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments to residents as prescribed by physicians Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting Provide basic nursing care, including wound care and ostomy care Maintain accurate and thorough records of medication administration and resident care Participate in resident assessments and care planning meetings Work closely with the nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure interdisciplinary care

Requirements:

Medication Technician certification (MT) (or willingness to obtain within six months of hire) High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a healthcare-related field preferred At least [Minimum Years of Experience] years of experience in a long-term care setting or related healthcare field Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends Strong communication and teamwork skills
