Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our healthcare team. We are NOT looking for Certified Medical Assistants (the other type of CMA). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support within a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medications, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties:
Administer medications as directed by physicians and ensure proper medication management for patients. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism. Maintain accurate patient records, including coding for billing purposes and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive patient care. Demonstrate knowledge of human physiology to assist in the assessment of patients' health conditions.
Skills:
Strong background in patient care and service, demonstrating compassion and attention to detail. Knowledge of physiology to effectively assist in patient assessments and care plans. Ability to administer medications safely and effectively under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
