Job Summary:
Certified Medication Aide (CMA) -
Residential Salary Range:
$47,000.00 To $63,000.00 Annually We are looking for a Certified Medication Aide (CMA)to join our Residential team! The Residential CMA promotes a strong belief in our philosophy, purpose, and ideals. Medical Assistants perform delegated routine clinical duties and assist in the delivery of patient care in the residential setting; to interact with patients, both in person and by phone; to provide outstanding customer service to patients, families, and co-workers; and to perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Experience working as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in primary care, residential or SUD setting.
  • Experience working in EPIC medical records preferred.
  • CNA and Certified Medication Aid required
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist with intake process i.e., client belongings search, orienting client, etc. and discharge process.
  • Demonstrate therapeutic, trauma informed care approach with clients.
  • Assist with administering urinalysis, urine hCG, BrAC, and TB as directed by provider or nurse.
  • Assist with medication administration within scope of practice guidelines and as directed by provider or nurse.
  • Assist with and document monitoring of clients and obtaining client vital signs.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed reports and records.
  • Communicate client information to rest of the team and provider as appropriate to facilitate coordination of care.
  • Maintain cleanliness of department i.e., flipping beds after discharges, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and common areas, sweeping and mopping, gathering garbage and linens, etc.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies for the department.
  • As necessary, other duties to support client care and unit functioning.
  • Attend meetings and staffing as needed/required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client information.
