Medication Technician/Caregivers:
First and Third Shifts:
Full and Part-Time 544 Harrison Bridge Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680 From $14 an hour - Part-time, Full-time From $14 an hour - Part-time, Full-time Fairview Park Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking compassionate Medication Technicians/Caregivers/Universal Workers to join our team and have the following openings. First and Third Shifts Full Time and Part Time shifts, available. Not required to be a certified med-tech- WILL
TRAIN ON SITE!
The ideal candidates will possess the ability to perform the following essential functions of the position: Administering or assisting with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by a health care provider. Exhibits understanding of and follow medication policies and procedures. Assists residents by providing direct care following the individualized care plan. This includes assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing grooming, toileting, etc. Assists with maintaining the physical, social and psychological environment conducive to the best interest and welfare of the residents. Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transfers. Encourages residents to socialize and participate in planned activities and programs. Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for the residents. Follows proper procedures in emergency situations and responds promptly and positively to resident's requests. Occasionally requires assistance to serve meals and complete laundry. All staff are required to maintain residents' records daily in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and procedures. It is required to be a "universal" worker which means to pass medications and provide care.
