Join our Resident Care team and help create an environment where residents feel valued, supported, and empowered to live each day with comfort and confidence. About Live Health Connect Residences At Live Health Connect Residences, we believe exceptional care begins with meaningful relationships. Our assisted living and memory care community is dedicated to enhancing the lives of older adults through personalized support, engaging experiences, and compassionate service. Every interaction—from medication administration to daily conversations—plays an important role in helping residents maintain their independence, dignity, and overall well-being. Managed by Bizzell Global Ventures, our community brings together experienced professionals who are passionate about healthcare excellence, hospitality, and resident-centered care. As we continue to grow, we are seeking caring leaders who can support our mission while helping residents and families feel confident in the quality of care they receive every day. Role and Responsibilities As the Supervisor in Charge, you serve as a key leader during your assigned shift, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care while supporting the performance and development of caregiving team members. You will oversee medication administration, monitor resident wellness, coordinate care activities, and serve as an important communication link between residents, families, healthcare providers, and community leadership. This role combines hands-on resident care with operational leadership. You will work closely with caregivers, healthcare professionals, and leadership team members to ensure compliance, safety, and exceptional service throughout the community.
Key responsibilities include:
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders, company policies, and state regulations. Supervise caregiving staff and coordinate shift assignments to ensure quality of resident care. Monitor residents for physical, emotional, and cognitive changes and communicate concerns appropriately. Maintain accurate medication administration records, incident reports, and resident documentation. Support residents with daily living activities as needed. Ensure compliance with infection prevention, emergency response, and resident rights procedures. Respond effectively to emergencies, behavioral situations, and resident incidents. Communicate with families, physicians, pharmacies, and interdisciplinary care teams. Assist with onboarding, mentoring, and training new team members. Promote resident engagement, comfort, dignity, and quality of life. A Day in the Life Your day begins around 6:45 a.m. as you arrive for a shift report and connect with the overnight team. You review resident updates, medication schedules, and any incidents that occurred during the previous shift. Before breakfast service begins, you walk through the community, greeting residents by name and checking in with caregivers to ensure everyone has the support they need for a successful day. Later in the morning, you meet with a caregiver to discuss a resident who has recently shown changes in mobility. Together, you review observations and communicate updates to the healthcare provider and leadership team. As medications are administered throughout the morning, you ensure documentation is completed accurately while providing reassurance and support to residents. By midday, you're helping coordinate care activities, answer family questions, and support team members who need guidance. During lunch service, you're visible throughout the community, observing resident interactions and ensuring residents receive attentive, compassionate care. In the afternoon, you conduct wellness checks, review medication records, and assist with staff coaching. You collaborate with the team regarding an upcoming activity designed for memory care residents and share observations that may help improve participation. Before the end of your shift, you completed documentation, updated leadership on resident concerns, and recognized team members who demonstrated outstanding service. Every day brings opportunities to lead, support, and positively impact the lives of residents and their families.
