Medication Aide

Job Description:

Angelhaus is hiring a Medication Aide to support adults with behavioral and developmental disabilities in our Huron residential program. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a structured environment where residents are encouraged to maintain independence while receiving consistent support.

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare and administer medications following physician orders and state guidelines Assist residents with daily routines including light cleaning, organization of living spaces, and encouragement of personal care Provide guidance and supervision to ensure a safe and stable environment Engage residents in daily activities and encourage social interaction Document medication administration and report any changes in condition or behavior

Schedule:

Multiple shifts available including evenings and overnights Full-time and part-time opportunities Weekend rotation as part of the schedule

Qualifications:

Current UMA (Unlicensed Medication Aide) certification preferred Willing to complete Medication Aide certification within 30 days if not currently certified Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
