This role is essential in ensuring that our residents receive the support they need to maintain their independence and quality of life. As a Med Aide/Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily living activities and supervising medications while fostering a safe and nurturing environment. Duties Supervise medications and ensure timely delivery and documentation. Implement behavior management strategies for residents with developmental disabilities or other special needs. Document care provided and report any changes in resident conditions to the nursing staff, medical professionals and responsible parties. Assist with activities of daily living. Communicate effectively with visitors, vendors, physicians and families Qualifications Previous experience in senior care or working with individuals with dementia is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping others. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members. Must be able to pass background checks and any required training certifications related to caregiving duties. Schedule This is a 4 days on 2 days off rotating schedule which includes weekends and holidays. The shift time is two days 5:45 am - 2:15 pm, two days 1:45 pm - 9:45 pm.
