Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Administer medications to patients according to prescribed dosage and schedule
• Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
• Document medication administration and any observed changes in patient condition
• Assist with physical examinations and other medical procedures as needed
• Provide patient care and support, including assistance with activities of daily living
• Work with individuals with developmental disabilities in a compassionate and respectful manner
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Medication Technician or similar credential
• Experience working in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital, assisted living facility, or nursing home
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (Cerner, Epic, etc.)
• Knowledge of memory care techniques and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
