As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents, while providing exceptional care and support to our elderly population.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications to residents according to their treatment plans and under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
  • Monitor and document medications administered, including side effects and any issues that may arise
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Assist with vital signs, bathing, dressing, and other daily living activities
  • Provide emotional and social support to residents and their families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medications and treatments
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure optimal care and services
