Job Description

SilverPoint Senior Living is looking for excellent Full-Time Medication Technician for The Eastman Senior Living community located in Longview, Texas who are passionate about caring for our seniors with dignity and integrity! Participate in meaningful work that improves the lives of the resident, your co-workers, and you! •Rare Full-Time Opportunity for 6A-2P Shift•
Position Description:
Provide exceptional personal care Assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) Ensure all medication documentation is current and correct, including but not limited to, medication administration forms, physician orders, change of dosages, written orders to confirm telephone orders, etc. Pour, pass, and assist with administration of medications in accordance with state regulations. Communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers as needed. Coordinate medication orders and deliveries with pharmacies. Ensure medication room is completely stocked with all required continuous, PRN, Over-The-Counter (OTC), and other medications as ordered by physicians. Engage residents in activities and social interaction. Provide exceptional personal care Exhibit our core values at all times Maintain records
Requirements:
Medication administration experience preferred MUST have a big heart and be willing to work in an Assisted Living Setting with individuals w/ Alzheimer's & dementia Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, climb stairs, hear, see, and lift up to 50 pounds. Transportation (Must have a car)
