Job Description
This position is built for a Certified Medication Aide who values precision, structure, and consistency. Medication administration at Madison is a focused assignment. You will be responsible for accurate medication passes, clear documentation, and adherence to established protocols. We are looking for professionals who can follow procedure and take pride in the job.. Expectations are clear, support is available, and performance is measured by accuracy and reliability. Responsibilities Administer medications within required timeframes Verify resident identity and medication dosage prior to each pass Document all medication administration promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR) Report medication refusals, errors, or adverse reactions to the Charge Nurse Maintain security and organization of the medication cart at all times Required Qualifications Active Texas Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification Active Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification Current CPR certification Skills & Competencies Strong working knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) Ability to manage medication passes efficiently under strict schedules Clear, professional communication with nursing leadership Consistent attendance and attention to detail
