Part-time, Full-time Certified Medication Aide Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Harmony Care at Stamford. As a certified professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to our residents. Responsibilities:
Administer medications to residents under the supervision of licensed nurses and physicians Conduct accurate medication counts and reconcile discrepancies Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration Collaborate with other care team members to develop and implement individualized care plans Monitor residents' responses to medication and report any adverse reactions to the healthcare team Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, facility policies, and professional standards
Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Medication Aide in the state of Texas High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized training in healthcare or a related field preferred Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Possess a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
