Certified Medication Assistant MH Cottonwood Creek Hourly Monument Health Cottonwood Creek, LLC Salt Lake City, UT Job Details Part-time 11 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification BLS Certification English Certified Medication Aide CNA Full Job Description The Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) works under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON) and is responsible for providing resident care to residents in accordance with resident assessments, care plans and as directed by nursing management. The CMA role incorporates the responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant but also medication administration in accordance with state and company policy. CMAs are responsible for understanding their authorized scope of practice in all areas of resident care with a special emphasis on the administration of medications within approved guidelines under the direction of the DON or other designated licensed nurse. CMAs must be licensed in the state of Utah and must meet all prior requirements in order to obtain such licensure. > Active, Non-Probationary CNA License with active work for at least six months.
