Role:
Join Candis Inc as a Registered Medication Aide in Roanoke, VA, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. This exciting opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Administer medications to residents as per physician's orders and company policies. Monitor and document residents' health status and medication effectiveness. Assist residents with daily living activities while promoting independence. Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and family members. Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations. Maintain accurate medication records and reports. Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills. Provide compassionate care and support to residents and their families.
Requirements:
Valid Registered Medication Aide certification in Virginia. Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred. Strong understanding of medication administration and safety protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare is a plus.
