Job Description

Alpha Assisted Living is looking for a caring, dependable, team-oriented person for the position of Assistant Director. The Assistant Director will play a significant role on our management team by helping to manage the daily operations and delivery of care services to our residents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising floor operations and supporting hiring and staffing functions. This role requires strong accountability and leadership skills to ensure quality of care and smooth daily operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and assist floor staff and daily operations.
  • Review 24 hour report and wellness monitoring, following up on noted concerns, and communicate to appropriate parties.
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate medication administration records.
  • Assist with hiring, on-boarding, training and scheduling to maintain staffing needs.
  • Maintain accountability for staff performance and resident satisfaction.
  • Serve as a point of contact for residents, families, and staff during shifts.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide support as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2 plus years of experience working in assisted living, associates degree in related field, LPN or MA preferred.
  • Proven experience in resident care and floor supervision.
  • Strong leadership and accountability skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
