Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician to join our team. As a Medication Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing senior care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. This position requires strong patient care skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to accurately document medical information.
Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications to patients according to prescribed dosages and schedules
  • Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members regarding patient care
  • Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan.
Skills:
  • Medication Administration Certification Required
  • Experience in senior care or patient care settings CBRF
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (e.g., Epic)
  • Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
