NOC Behavioral Health Aide

Starting at $25.00 hour DOE Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Residential Care Coordinator to support residents in a structured residential setting. This role focuses on ensuring safety, promoting independent living skills, and supporting individuals with behavioral health needs. Key Responsibilities Monitor resident behavior closely; document observations and report concerns Oversee and monitor medication usage Conduct and support individual and group skill-building activities Maintain safety and cleanliness in resident apartments; provide guidance as needed Perform housekeeping duties in staff and common areas, including laundry Assist with meal preparation and cook dinner for residents Help plan and support evening activities Maintain strict confidentiality at all times Complete other duties as assigned Preferred Skills & Abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to stay calm and problem-solve in crisis situations Reliability and strong work ethic Ability to build rapport with individuals experiencing serious mental illness Familiarity with Alaska Native cultures and rural lifestyles required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (required) At least 1 year of experience or education in counseling, behavioral health, or social services (preferred) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Screening & Requirements Must pass background checks in accordance with Alaska DHSS and federal regulations Must complete fingerprinting (scheduled; ~48-hour turnaround) 5-panel drug test (including THC) Must complete credentialing process First Aid/BLS certification required (training provided) Must provide required immunizations/titers Ready to get started Applicants never pay fees when applying with or working for TDL Staffing.
