Job Description

Do you have a passion for helping students with behavioral needs thrive in a school setting? Ro Health is seeking dedicated Paraprofessional Behavioral Aides to make a meaningful impact and support student success throughout the current school year! Our providers are assigned to cases as either 1:1 supports, or as a general classroom aide. As 1:1 support – you would be going to each class with your student to provide behavioral and educational support throughout the day. 1:1 supporters are responsible to ensure their student is on task and working towards their behavioral goals. As classroom support – providers who are assigned to work with a single teacher or classroom. In this role, providers will support wherever they are needed most by the teacher. Typically every day looks different in this position, and you may be working with several different students throughout your day.
Overview:
Location- Glendale, Paradise Valley Monday-Friday 8am-3pm
Pay:
$19.00-$20.00 401K matching at 4%, 8 days of
PTO, WEEKLY
PAY, sick days and career advancement.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to students with disabilities, addressing behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs. Assist with classroom management, including supervision and instructional support. Provide one-to-one tutoring and academic assistance in reading, writing, and mathematics, as appropriate. Support adaptive skill development, including communication, socialization, self-help, play, and motor skills. Use data collection methods to track and support progress toward student goals. Assist with toileting, hygiene, and personal care as required by student needs. Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
Qualifications:
Associate Degree required (or equivalent of 48 college credits/ Passing Parapro) Previous experience working with children who have special needs required Strong assessment skills Passion for supporting students in the learning process Inclination to work well in a team environment Benefits (eligibility dependent on employment status): Paid time off Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401K with employer matching Direct deposit Does this role sound like the right fit for you?
