This role provides leadership in student behavior management, supports daily school operations, assists with facility oversight, and serves as an administrative liaison between students, staff, families, and school leadership. The Behavioral Support Manager works closely with the Principal, Behavior Director, and educational teams to ensure that students receive consistent behavioral support while maintaining a positive school culture that reflects Autism FITS Academy's mission and values. Duties Provide direct behavior intervention services to students in various educational settings. Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to staff on proper intervention practices. Implement behavior plans, ABA strategies, and intervention techniques as developed by the Behavioral Director. Collect and analyze behavioral data including frequency, ABC charts, incident reports and other tools. Assist in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and related documentation under supervision. Support teachers and staff with the implementation of classroom-based behavior management strategies. Model and reinforce positive behavior support practices across school environments. Maintain confidentiality of student records and sensitive information. Use school-based data systems (e.g., Alma, Google Sheets) to input and monitor behavioral data. Support the coordination and training of paraprofessional staff regarding behavior strategies. Collaborate with the ILP team and contribute to the behavioral goals of student programs. Participate in professional development sessions and staff trainings. Ensure adherence to A-FITS policies and procedures, especially regarding student safety and physical intervention protocols. Assist with general supervision and coverage assignments for behavioral support. Assist the Principal with daily school operations and administrative responsibilities. Support student enrollment, orientation, and transition processes. Participate in Individualized Learning Program (ILP) meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed. Help develop and implement school policies, procedures, and student handbook expectations. Assist with supervision of student arrival, dismissal, lunch periods, and special events. Serve as an administrative resource for staff, students, and families. Facility and Campus Operations Conduct regular campus walkthroughs to ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment. Identify facility maintenance needs and coordinate with appropriate personnel for resolution. Monitor classroom and common-area safety, cleanliness, and functionality. Assist with emergency preparedness procedures, drills, and safety protocols. Support management of school equipment, inventory and supplies, and operational resources. Family and Community Engagement Build positive relationships with students, families, and staff. Communicate effectively with parents regarding behavioral, attendance, and school-related concerns. Support family engagement initiatives and school-wide events. Serve as a positive ambassador for Autism FITS Academy within the community. Participate in and support school-sponsored events held outside of regular school hours, including but not limited to autism awareness walks, family engagement activities, fundraising events, open houses, community outreach initiatives, and school celebrations. Physical Requirements Ability to move throughout the school campus regularly. Ability to respond quickly during student emergencies and behavioral crises. Ability to participate in approved crisis intervention and safety procedures as required. Ability to lift at least 50lbs Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in ABA Experience working with students with behavioral challenges or developmental disabilities. Basic knowledge of ABA principles and positive behavior support techniques. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to collect and interpret behavioral data and follow intervention protocols. Proficiency with technology tools such as Google Workspace, Excel, and data collection systems. Understanding of confidentiality laws and professional ethics related to student services. Work Habits and Competencies
