In this energetic and rewarding position, you will support clients through crisis intervention, behavior management, and therapeutic interventions, ensuring they receive the highest quality of patient-centered care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand clients' behavioral health history and current needs Implement individualized treatment plans utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA), crisis management, and behavior management techniques Monitor vital signs and administer medication as prescribed, maintaining accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Engage with clients experiencing autism, developmental disabilities, PTSD, or other behavioral health conditions through therapeutic activities and social work strategies Collect and analyze data related to client progress, behavior patterns, and treatment effectiveness to inform ongoing care adjustments Respond swiftly to behavioral crises or emergencies with effective crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques Maintain detailed medical records, ensure confidentiality, and adhere to all medical terminology standards during documentation and communication Qualifications Proven experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Ability to perform behavioral health assessments and apply evidence-based practices such as applied behavior analysis (ABA) Strong skills in data collection, behavior management, medication administration, and patient care procedures Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams Certification or training in addiction counseling or special education is a plus but not required Embark on a meaningful career where your expertise directly impacts lives.
