Current School Year Contract Job Description:
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Aide for a full-time position for the current school year. This role involves working closely with students who require behavioral support, helping them develop positive behaviors and succeed in the classroom setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral support to students Assist in implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Reinforce positive behaviors and support social-emotional development Collect and document data on student behavior and progress Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers Support students during classroom activities, transitions, and structured routines Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with children or individuals with behavioral needs preferred Background in ABA, paraprofessional work, or similar role is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain patient, consistent, and proactive High school diploma required; additional education or certification preferred
