Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Behavioral Aide to provide 1:1 support for special education students. This role is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience working directly with individuals with diverse behavioral and developmental needs across all age groups. As a Behavioral Aide, you will play a key role in supporting students' academic, behavioral, social, and daily living needs in a school-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 behavioral support to special education students Assist students in implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Support students across various age groups (early childhood through adolescence) Assist with daily living activities, including restroom assistance as needed Promote positive behavior, emotional regulation, and independence Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and BCBAs Maintain student safety, dignity, and confidentiality at all times Document student progress and behaviors as required

Required Qualifications:

Prior experience working 1:1 with special education students Comfortable and experienced providing restroom assistance Experience working with students of all ages Ability to follow behavior plans and instructional strategies Reliable, patient, and compassionate approach to student care Ability to work effectively in school settings
