Mental Health Worker Behavioral Health Fresno, California Description Position at Horizon Health and Subacute Center Horizon Health and Subacute, Fresno; Mental Health Worker $19.50- $22.50 per hour PM Shift, 11:30am-8:00pm 4/2 schedule Mental Health Worker Horizon Health and Subacute, a Generations Healthcare facility is searching for a Mental Health Worker. This opportunity is a great steppingstone into the field of Behavioral Health. If you are a student majoring in sociology, psychology or taking the prerequisites of any mental health driven major; this position will offer practical experience in your field of study!

Key Responsibilities:

Escort clients timely to groups and record participation ensuring that groups maintain a 1:6 ratio. Record client group participation on tracking calendar. Pass out and collect tracking calendar weekly. Total tracking calendar weekly and log into medical record. Facilitate groups and activities as assigned. Lead community meeting daily. Encourage client attendance to groups and participation. Ensure and assist clients to complete forms properly and timely. Document interventions and interactions with clients in the medical record. Report changes in behavior to charge nurse and Program Counselor.

Requirements:

Current community college or university student with interest in behavioral health Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
