In this engaging position, you will implement evidence-based behavioral therapies, such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), to foster positive growth and development. Your compassionate approach and attention to detail will help create meaningful progress for clients while working closely with families, educators, and healthcare professionals. Duties Implement individualized behavioral intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients' developmental goals. Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist with patient assessments and intake procedures to determine client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies. Support clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment that promotes learning and engagement. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment records, and behavioral data, in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including special education staff and healthcare providers—to coordinate care plans and share relevant information. Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, diagnostic evaluation, medical terminology, and best practices in working with individuals with disabilities. Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working directly with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Excellent data collection skills to track behavioral progress accurately and efficiently. Compassionate communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and team members. Familiarity with medical records management, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance. Ability to perform patient assessments and support intake processes confidently.
