Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services Worker Innovative Providers LLC Indio, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $20 - $30 an hour 23 hours ago Qualifications Driving Full Job Description Job Overview Join our dedicated team as an Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) Worker, where you will play a vital role in supporting adults with mental health challenges and developmental disabilities. This energetic position involves providing compassionate, person-centered care that promotes independence, community integration, and overall well-being. You will work closely with individuals to develop life skills, manage behaviors, and foster positive social interactions, making a meaningful difference in their lives every day. Responsibilities Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation to promote independence. Implement behavioral health strategies and behavior management techniques to support positive behavior change. Conduct data collection and documentation to monitor progress and inform care plans. Support individuals with developmental disabilities and autism by creating tailored activities that enhance social skills and community engagement. Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols while maintaining detailed medication records. Provide transportation and driving support to enable participation in community outings, appointments, and activities. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans. Skills Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and behavior management techniques. Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus. Knowledge of special education practices and home & community care experience. Ability to assist with ADLs and provide caregiving support with compassion and patience. Experience in social work or related fields that involve direct support roles. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for safe transportation duties. Competence in data collection, documentation, and medication administration protocols. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while maintaining a positive attitude.
