Mental Health Worker Community Hospital San Bernardino - 3.6 San Bernardino, CA Job Details Part-time $24.00 - $28.02 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications BLS Certification Full Job Description Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Mental Health Worker, you will help patients receive basic care, observations, and custodial care so they can maintain their well-being and progress in their treatment. Everyday you will perform basic patient care and observations. You will be expected to adhere to hospital policies and procedures under the supervision of a licensed nurse. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate a full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Community Hospital of San Bernardino and its Core Values, supporting its strategic plan and quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Communicates, records, and reports promptly to the licensed nursing personnel vitals, treatment results, changes in patients condition, observations, patient complaints, and other pertinent information regarding the patient. Promptly answers patients requests. Follow-up on patient care responsibilities and assignments left from previous shift and reports to team leader any incomplete assignments to ensure continuity of care. Performs direct patient care activities for specific patient population according to established policies and procedures; adapts techniques to unique needs of each patient. Responsible for the cleaning and organizing patient room, clothing and belongings. Maintains supplies in a safe and efficient manner and reports maintenance and repairs as needed. Job Requirements Required Minimum of one (1) year Mental Health Worker experience working with psychiatric patients either in an inpatient, residential, outpatient setting or comparable equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant:
CA or Emergency Medical Technician:
