About Us La Jolla Recovery is a leading substance use treatment facility dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals seeking recovery from addiction. Our multidisciplinary team of professionals is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our clients and helping them achieve lasting sobriety and wellness. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Therapist to join our team. As a therapist, you will play a pivotal role in providing therapeutic interventions, assessments, and support to individuals battling substance use disorders and/or mental health diagnoses. Key Responsibilities:
Individual Counseling:
Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Group Therapy:
Facilitate group sessions, offering a safe and supportive environment for clients to share their experiences and learn from one another.
Assessment and Diagnosis:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the needs of clients struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Treatment Planning:
Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals for recovery.
Crisis Intervention:
Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in moments of acute distress.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with all relevant regulations and facility policies.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the interdisciplinary treatment team, including medical professionals, counselors, and case managers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
Qualifications:
AMFT, APCC
•Must have your number• Exposure and understanding of substance use field Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Empathetic, non-judgmental, and compassionate approach to client care. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
