Job Description

Associate Therapist - In-Person & Telehealth (Evening & Weekend Availability Required) Please apply only if you are available for these hours. Peace of Mind Wellness & Family Counseling, Inc. is a growing group private practice in Orange County, California, seeking passionate and skilled Associate Therapists to join our team. This role includes providing both in-person and Telehealth counseling sessions, with required availability during evenings and/or weekends. Position Overview We are seeking therapists experienced in: Clinical interviewing and assessment Individual, family, couples, and group counseling Crisis intervention and therapeutic treatment Developing and implementing effective treatment plans Applying psychological theories to support client growth and recovery Understanding and adhering to laws and regulations regarding patient rights Essential Responsibilities ✔ Conduct accurate mental health assessments using established diagnostic criteria ✔ Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans ✔ Respond effectively to crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions or referrals ✔ Assess the need for and coordinate medication referrals when appropriate ✔ Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and uphold confidentiality standards ✔ Communicate clinical information clearly and professionally Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited institution in: Marriage & Family Therapy Social Work Psychology Clinical Psychology Counseling Psychology Counseling (with an emphasis in Marriage, Family, or MFT) Required Licensure Must hold an active Associate registration with the California BBS as one of the following: ✔ Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) ✔ Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) If you are looking for a supportive team environment and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, we would love to connect with you.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $72,500.00 per year
