Supervise youth in a Residential group home. This includes mentoring and being a good role model, teaching independent living skills, behavior modifications, and crisis management. Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or related field preferred but not required. Previous experience working with youth is preferred.EEO:

Supervise, protect and care for children individually and in groups at all times, according to standards set forth by Community Care Licensing. Teach youths self-help skills and participates in the following areas: food preparation, cooking, house cleaning, laundering, homework assistance, and yard work. Ensure accurate and timely administration of medication, recognize youth's medical needs, and administer first aid treatment as needed. Maintain accurate records and reports on a daily basis: (Intake information, personal logs, treatment notes, staff communication log, termination assessment, incident and runaway reports, behavioral contracts.). Deescalate enhanced situations where clients may be exhibiting extreme or aggressive behaviors. Participate in regular team meetings, offering insight and feedback based on the rapport and experience you have with clients.Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree, or 1 year of experience with the target population in a qualifying program. 21 years or older due to County contract requirements. Maintain a valid California Driver's License and acceptable driving record of at least 3 years. Maintain criminal record clearance Must have a philosophy of support for at-risk children and families in line with the mission, vision, values, and statement of faith of Olive Crest.Health Benefits include:
