Job Description

Ro Health is looking for Behavioral Class assistants and Registered Behavioral technicians to work with mild/moderate/severe kids at in the High Desert area for summer 2026 and fall 2026 for a mix of classroom support and 1:1 with children who are special needs. You would need to be comfortable with transportation cases and working in Barstow! This position would start ASAP. Apply today to make an impact! •Positions may start as per diem (on call), then transition into a Monday-Friday case once a position opens up. •However if you are able to work in Barstow, there is a good chance you will get consistent hours.

Requirements:
Previous school experience is not required but preferred. Applied Behavioral Analysis experience in home setting or school settings High school diploma 48 units completed in a AA/BA program Experience with Mild/moderate levels on the autism spectrum Strong assessment skills Willingness to assist in students learning process CPR or NCI Certification CPR Card Strong ability to work in a team environment This role focuses on providing behavioral support in a school setting, specifically leverage implementation of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), with students ranging in grade level from pre-K to high school. It is a great benefit if you have previous experience supporting students with special needs and have worked in a 1:1 or 1:multiple capacity Our providers are assigned to cases as either 1:1 supports, or as a general classroom aide. You would be going to each class with your student to provide behavioral and educational support throughout the day. 1:1 supporters are responsible to ensure their student is on task and working towards their behavioral goals. : providers who are assigned to work with a single teacher or classroom. In this role, providers will support wherever they are needed most by the teacher. Typically every day looks different in this position, and you may be working with several different students throughout your day.

Responsibilities:
Providing support either in a 1:1 or general capacity Calm, clear, and concise communication with both children and adults Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
Qualifications:
At a minimum, candidates must be instructionally eligible Experience in childcare and/or ABA Associate's degree preferred or at least 48 units completed in an AA or Bachelors degree program. Previous experience working in a school setting preferred

Responsibilities Implement applied behavior analysis techniques to support children with autism in school settings. Conduct patient assessments and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with educators and parents to develop individualized care plans. Collect and analyze data to track progress and adjust interventions as needed. Provide compassionate patient care and support to children with developmental disabilities. Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
