Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and caring Individualized Living Support Technician (ILST) to join our team. In this vital role, you will deliver direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and other disabilities within their homes and community settings. Your energetic approach will help empower clients to achieve greater independence while ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation Support behavioral health needs through positive behavior management strategies Facilitate communication using techniques such as American Sign Language when applicable Administer medication following prescribed guidelines and document all medication activities accurately Collect and record data related to client progress, behaviors, and service delivery for reporting purposes Drive clients safely to appointments, activities, or community outings using company vehicles Provide childcare support when necessary, ensuring a nurturing and safe environment for children with special needs Skills Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism Knowledge of special education principles and behavioral health practices Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members Ability to perform caregiving tasks with patience and compassion Familiarity with home and community care environments Proficiency in assisting with ADLs and implementing behavior management plans Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for transportation duties Experience in data collection, documentation, and reporting in a healthcare or social work setting Knowledge of medication administration protocols in a caregiving context Join our team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve! $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
