Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Recovery Assistant (RA), where you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals with behavioral health needs, developmental disabilities, and trauma-related conditions. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by providing compassionate care, behavioral support, and crisis intervention. As an RA, you will work closely with clients to promote their well-being, foster independence, and ensure safety in a supportive environment. Your energetic approach and commitment to patient-centered care will help create a positive and empowering atmosphere for those we serve. Duties Assist clients with daily activities, personal hygiene, and medication administration following medical records and HIPAA guidelines Monitor vital signs and observe behavioral changes to inform treatment plans and ensure safety Implement behavior management strategies using applied behavior analysis techniques to support positive behaviors Conduct intake assessments and document medical records accurately while maintaining confidentiality Engage clients in therapeutic activities tailored to their needs, including working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities Respond swiftly to crises using crisis intervention and crisis management skills to de-escalate situations effectively Collect data on client progress and behaviors for ongoing evaluation and treatment adjustments Collaborate with social workers, medical professionals, and families to coordinate comprehensive care plans Qualifications Experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, or in behavioral health settings is highly desirable Knowledge of crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavior management techniques Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and HIPAA regulations Ability to perform medical procedures such as taking vital signs accurately Strong communication skills for effective patient care and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams Background in special education, addiction counseling, or applied behavior analysis is a plus Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly while ensuring client safety and well-being This role is ideal for compassionate individuals eager to support others through meaningful interactions and professional growth. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
