MCCA Waterbury Outpatient Services is seeking a full-time Licensed or Associate Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor to join our dedicated and knowledgeable team. Client Assessment & Treatment Planning :
Evaluate client strengths, needs, and limitations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using MCCA's proven curriculum. Regularly review and adjust plans to ensure effective care.
Admissions & Intake :
Conduct evaluations for program admission, complete intake documentation, and determine client eligibility and appropriate treatment modalities.
Documentation & Communication :
Maintain accurate and timely records including assessments, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other client-related documentation to support continuity of care and agency accountability.
Collaborative Care :
Work closely with internal and external professionals to ensure comprehensive, high-quality care for each client. What We're Looking For...
Licensure :
Must hold one of the following Connecticut licenses: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LADC, LPCA, LMFTA, or LMSW .
Education :
Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or a related Social Sciences field.
Technical Skills :
