One of our clients is seeking a Dedicated Aide to support K-12 students in the Washington, DC area. We are seeking a compassionate and student-centered Dedicated Aide to work 1 on 1 with students with disabilities in achieving their academic, behavioral, social, and developmental goals.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and accommodations. Support students with disabilities in achieving academic, behavioral, and developmental goals. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to modify instructional materials and learning activities as needed. Implement classroom behavior management strategies and positive behavior interventions. Support students in developing social skills, communication skills, self-regulation, and positive peer relationships. Help maintain a structured, safe, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and student success. Provide assistance with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities when required. Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, specialists, and support personnel to meet student needs.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED (Required) Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children (SPED Experience Preferred) Ability to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to pass required background clearances
