Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Your primary focus will be on delivering evidence-based behavioral therapy, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and collecting data to monitor progress. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans designed by licensed behavior analysts, ensuring consistency and fidelity in delivery. Use applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors in children and individuals with developmental disabilities. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene routines. Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Support clients during teaching sessions, facilitating skill acquisition in communication, social interaction, and adaptive living skills. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding medical records and sensitive client information. Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities. Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and support patient care in a compassionate manner. Proficiency in data collection methods and maintaining accurate medical documentation. Familiarity with medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and confidentiality standards related to medical records. Excellent teaching skills combined with patience and adaptability for working in diverse settings. Knowledge of behavior management strategies to promote positive outcomes and foster a supportive environment.
