Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate to join our team, committed to providing exceptional care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum. In this role, you will play a vital part in implementing behavioral interventions, assisting with daily living activities, and fostering a positive environment that promotes growth and independence. Your work will directly impact the lives of those you serve, helping them achieve their goals through personalized care plans and evidence-based strategies. Responsibilities Deliver behavioral therapy interventions based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' developmental progress. Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene, ensuring comfort and independence. Collect and analyze data related to behavior management and treatment outcomes to inform ongoing care strategies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and update individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, behavior logs, and treatment records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support clients during therapy sessions and community outings while ensuring safety and positive engagement. Foster a supportive environment by applying behavioral health techniques that promote social skills, communication, and adaptive behaviors. Requirements Experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or special education is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior management strategies in various settings. Strong data collection skills to track progress and inform treatment adjustments. Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with clients, families, and team members. Prior experience in patient care or behavioral health is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Join us in making a meaningful difference!
