In this role, you will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans and providing support to enhance their quality of life. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis and demonstrate a commitment to ethical practices in behavioral therapy. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies. Implement and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect and analyze data on client progress, ensuring accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support for individuals with developmental disabilities. Maintain medical records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with healthcare professionals. Provide training and support to staff on best practices in applied behavior analysis and behavioral therapy techniques. Engage with clients in a compassionate manner, fostering trust and encouraging participation in therapeutic activities. Qualifications Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification is required. Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques. Familiarity with medical terminology and patient assessment processes. Proficient in data collection methods related to behavioral interventions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
