Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with autism. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adults by implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions and fostering positive growth. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, patience, and a strong commitment to promoting independence and well-being through personalized care plans and behavioral health strategies. This paid position is perfect for individuals passionate about special education, behavior management, and patient-centered care. Responsibilities Implement behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to support clients' developmental goals Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, dressing, and toileting to promote independence Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to inform treatment plans and track progress accurately Work closely with children and individuals with autism to develop tailored teaching strategies that enhance learning outcomes Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clients in educational settings by applying special education principles and teaching strategies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive behavioral health interventions that address individual needs Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) methods Experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those on the autism spectrum Ability to assist with ADLs while maintaining a respectful and encouraging environment Proficiency in data collection, documentation, and medical record management using appropriate medical terminology Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of sensitive health information Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, educators, and healthcare professionals Passion for teaching, patient care, and supporting positive behavioral change through compassionate engagement Join us in creating a supportive environment where every individual can thrive!
