This role involves providing behavioral therapy and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, in a clinical or home-based setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis (ABA), experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives while working within a collaborative healthcare environment. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations. Collect, analyze, and document data related to client progress and treatment efficacy, ensuring accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct intake assessments and patient evaluations to determine appropriate treatment strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, medical staff, and families, to coordinate care plans. Provide direct behavioral therapy sessions tailored to each client's needs, focusing on skill development and behavior reduction. Train caregivers and staff on ABA techniques, data collection methods, and behavior management strategies. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting interventions as necessary to optimize outcomes. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all medical terminology standards and privacy regulations. Experience Certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder. Strong background in applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral therapy techniques. Experience with data collection, patient assessment, and behavioral health diagnostics. Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation practices, and electronic medical records systems. Prior work involving intake procedures, patient care, and behavioral health evaluations is preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards related to medical records and patient privacy is essential. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about behavioral health who want to contribute positively to the lives of individuals with disabilities through specialized therapeutic interventions.
